Sam Rickett has agreed to extend his stay at the Wingmakers and the club could not be happier with his decision. The highly rated midfielder, at just 20 years old, showcased his talent in 12 appearances that he made for the team last season after joining the club in January. Despite receiving tempting offers from other Cymru Premier teams, Sam's loyalty and commitment to Airbus prevailed, as he expressed his eagerness to aid the club in their pursuit of promotion back into the Cymru Premier league.
Manager Mark Allen, expressing his satisfaction in the signing, stated " We are thrilled that Sam has chosen to remain with us. Sam established himself into the first team in the latter part of the season, and we believe he has the qualities to help us compete next season".
Rickett's presence on the field brought stability and consistency, making him a priority for Allen to secure and become an integral part of the team's future plans.
Rickett joined the Wingmakers from Ruthin Town, where he had spent a successful 18 months. His exceptional ball control, versatility and energy make him a valuable asset to the squad.
