Airbus U8s – Caernarfon Town (H)
Airbus Academy U8s enjoyed a superb morning of football on Saturday as they hosted Caernarfon at home, recording victories in all four matches played. The young Wingmakers delivered a series of excellent performances, combining skill, teamwork, and high energy from start to finish.
From the outset, Airbus impressed with their fluid passing, intelligent movement, and strong defensive organisation. The players showed great confidence in possession, creating numerous attacking opportunities and finishing clinically when chances came their way.
At the back, goalkeeper Lucas was a standout performer, pulling off several impressive saves and showing great composure under pressure. His communication and distribution from the back set the tone for the team’s play.
In midfield, George Gray put in a dominant display, controlling the tempo of the game with his vision and passing. His work rate and ability to link up play were key to Airbus’s attacking rhythm throughout the matches.
The coaching staff were full of praise for the team’s attitude and application, with every player contributing to what was a very successful morning of football.
Players of the Match: Lucas (Goalkeeper), George Gray (Midfield)

Airbus U10s – Caernarfon Town (H)
Last game of the year for Airbus U10s!
Saturday was all about enjoying it together as a team and putting everything we’ve worked on since January in to play.
The boys were superb from minute 1, to minute 60. It was great to see the passion and togetherness the boys played with.
At times during the game, the football was exciting and free flowing, it had everything apart from the final product.
We struggled to take our chances in front of goal and again, on another day, we score a number of goals.
Despite the results, the boy’s performance was superb and made my weekend!!
MoM I decided to get the lads to vote as I couldn’t choose just 1. That led to Indy getting the vote, and fully deserved. Solid as always. The opposition coach even highlighted him at the end of the game and expressed how much we’ve improved and how well Indy played ??
It’s been a long season but what a journey we’ve been on. Big things to come from this group!
Airbus U11s – Caernarfon Town (H)
Saturday morning we welcomed Caernarfon to the Airfield.
Our Wingmakers started slowly and couldn’t find any rhythm to our play for the first 15 minutes allowing Caernarfon too much time on the ball which in the end they showed their quality.
2nd half was better as we got a reaction as we pressed much better as a team which frustrated Caernarfon.
We started to have more possession and created numerous of chances with some brilliant link up play.
Player of the match - Max Williams
Max was asked to play in several positions today and gave 100% effort, Max caused Caernarfon loads of problems with his superb range of passing in and around the danger area.
Airbus U12s – Caernarfon Town (H)
Airbus 12s hosted Caernarfon 12s this Sunday at the Hollingsworth stadium with the early kick off.
After a stalemate first 10 mins Airbus started to keep possession creating chances and went 1-0 up after a great strike from distance with a Mynor Evans free kick.
We didn’t stay in front for long as Caernarfon showed why the are 2nd in league hit back playing a through ball and a clinical finish.
Airbus increased the intensity further creating chances leading to two quality finishes from Olly Moore going into the break 3-1 up.
After the break the Airbus played into the wind and Caernarfon went direct and Airbus defended as a group excellently and once in possession played with confidence. No goals in second period lead to a well deserved 3-1 win for Airbus.
Man of the match - Mynor Evans – controlled the back line winning every ball/tackle throughout the match. Also scored first goal with great 30 yd strike from a free kick.
Airbus U13s – Caernarfon Town (H)
It was a tough outing for the Airbus Academy U13s on Sunday as they fell to a home defeat against Caernarfon. Despite moments of promise, the side struggled to find their rhythm and were ultimately second best throughout the match.
A slow start saw Airbus concede early, and although the players battled to get back into the game, a lack of sharpness and cohesion — likely stemming from a difficult week in training — was evident.
The team found it hard to maintain possession and were often punished for lapses in concentration.
There were glimpses of quality, with a few strong individual performances and attacking moves, but consistency was lacking across the pitch. Caernarfon took their chances well and controlled large spells of the game.
The coaching staff acknowledged the result as a learning moment, noting that preparation during the week needs to improve to match the standards expected on match day.
Plenty to work on, but also a clear opportunity to bounce back stronger next time.
Player of the match – Leo Killick
Airbus U15s – Caernarfon Town (A)
The U15 team went on the road to face Caernarfon.
The players exhibited outstanding performance during the initial 30 minutes, warranting a lead of several goals.
However, they squandered numerous opportunities. It is essential for them to capitalize on their efforts in the attacking third.
Thus, they got caught ball watching with Caernarfon’s first chance of the day and got punished.
0-1 @ half time and we were extremely frustrated.
0-2
The 2nd half was more of the same, with further clear cut chances missed. A couple of defensive lapses in concentration saw Caernarfon score 2 further goals.
Airbus did score from a Jack Davies corner as Fin Geary headed home well at the front post.
Player of the week: Max Murray – Played in the new position of false 9 for 30 minutes and did exceptionally well causing the opponents trouble with his movement and endeavour to create attacking opportunities.
Airbus U16s – Caernarfon Town (A)
The U16's travelled to play Caernarfon for a midday KO. It was always going to be difficult for the lads having 8 x U15 players in the squad who had just previously played in their own fixture.
The team did have chances to score in the early stages but couldn't capitalise.
Caernarfon threw everything at us and scored a number of goals. The lads heads never dropped as we regrouped at half time.
2nd half the lads were more solid and had a couple of further chances, however tiredness kicked in the 2nd half and the Caernarfon added two more to their total.
Player of the week: Jacob Clement - Solid performance from Jacob who had an extremely busy afternoon. Made numerous excellent saves.
Airbus U19s – Caernarfon Town (A)
Airbus travelled to Caernarfon on a warm Sunday afternoon
First half Airbus started by far the better team in total control of the game and kept creating chances but could not finish them. Eventually through a very good phase of play on the 20’ Hugh Holland taps home a lovely cross from Robbie Jones. Airbus create plenty of chances but simply could not punish the opposition and it came back to bite them. HT 2-1 Caernarfon
Second half was similar. Airbus creating chance after chance with no real end product missing two absolute sitters. The opposition go straight down the other end and capitalise. A very mixed game. FT 5-1 Caernarfon
Player of the week goes to Robbie Jones. Robbie trains and plays with a great maturity and leads within the group. Great assist on match day. Well done Robbie
Airbus Reserves – Denbigh Town FC (A)
Reserves travelled to Denbigh on a sunny Friday night.
Airbus started brightly and took the lead following a great pass from Ben Williams into Warren Leach’s path who finished well. Soon after we were 2-0 up following an instinctive finish by Lewis Buckley following a corner by Josh Edwards.
Denbigh started the 2nd half well and were rewarded with a goal from a penalty. Airbus responded immediately via Tom Henderson following a great run and cross by the debutant Harvey O’Sullivan. Robbie Jones completed the scoring via the 2nd phase of a corner.
A good performance all around with some promising performances from Harvey and Stan Edwards on debut.
Player of the week goes to Ben Williams. Continues to impress and improve.
