After a disappointing weekend for Airbus, we turn our attention back to league duty as we make the short journey to The Globe to play Buckley Town on Tuesday evening.

Buckley have had a good start to their season, with an opening day 1-0 win away at Chirk and a convincing 3-0 win against newly promoted Denbigh in the second round of the cup.

Our last two encounters with Buckley have resulted in two Airbus victories.

These victories coming in our league winning campaign season 21/22. A 3-1 win for Airbus at Buckley on 2nd October 2021, an early goal from Lanceley, followed by a penalty from Davies and a headed goal from Edwards in the final minutes to take the three points.

Our recent encounter, was a 2-0 win to Airbus at The Hollingsworth Group Stadium on 12th March 2022. A goalless first half with little chances. A Gareth Edwards goal just after half time gave Airbus the lead and with 15 minutes to go Eyre wrapped up the 3 points.

Buckley Town V Airbus always has a derby feel to the game and they never fail to disappoint!
