It's been a strong start to the season by the team, did you expect this start?
J.P. "Despite dropping a league we’ve probably got a more experienced team this year than last so I expected two wins from three but to get all available points is great. Momentum is important so we need to keep it going.
In the first three weeks, you have been selected for the JD Cymru Leagues Team of the Week and bagged yourself two man of the matches?
J.P. "Each game I’m feeling fitter and more match sharp. I’ve played a few positions already this season but I’ve played with the likes of Tommo and Ryan for a number of years now so knowing their game well helps mine"
After a difficult campaign last season has the approach to the season been different?
J.P. "Personally I didn’t do anything much different to what I normally do. Kept myself ticking over a bit before we come in for pre-season and I’ve been working closely with Rits and Em on a few niggles I’ve been carrying for quite some time so relieving them has definitely helped me. Skip has run us hard this pre season tho I will say that probably the toughest pre season in terms of running I’ve ever done. Not nice at the time but I think we’re reaping some of the rewards now with us scoring some late goals."
