Read all you need to know ahead of Saturdays JD Welsh Cup tie against Trefelin BGC at home.

The Wingmakers welcome Trefelin BGC to the Hollingsworth group stadium for the last 32 tie in the JD Welsh Cup.

The Wingmakers come into the match off the back of a 2-1 defeat away at Newtown on November 5th. Jake Eyre goal wasn’t enough to secure any points on the road at Latham Park.

The visitors also fell to defeat last time out, losing to former Cymru Premier side Barry Town in Gavin Chesterfields final match in the dugout at Jenner Park. However, the visitors do sit 10th in the Cymru South.

Team news
The Wingmakers are depleted at the moment, with a number of injuries to key personal, including starting centre backs Gaz Edwards and Steve Tomassen.

One to watch

The Wingmakers – Ryan Edwards. The Wingmakers vice captain will need to show his experience as he will most likely take the captains armband for the third game in a row. A key player in our promotion push last season. The veteran will be hoping to re create his top form as we look to mark Saturday as a turning point in the season. We know he is a threat from anywhere on the park, and will go box to box for the club.

Trefelin BGC – Joe Clarke. The Visitors top scorer in the league. He has five goals to his name so far. However, the former JD Cymru Premier player for Llanelli, Aberystwyth and Port Talbot is a key player for the club. The midfielder will be a key threat the lads will have to tame to make sure we progress in the cup.

Match coverage

Ticket prices are £8 adults and £4 for concessions, £1 U16s. This is a ticket only game, season tickets and exemptions do not count.
