Flintshire Derby didn’t disappoint.

Ryan Edwards was back in the starting line-up after an injury lay off.

Mold started the first half very brightly with spells of good possession and with 6 minutes on the clock, Mold opened the scoring.

Nash with a great run down the right, who played the ball into Lewis and he found Warren in the box for an easy finish for the Mold number 9.

Airbus were starting to control the game in possession and on 11 minutes created their first chance when Kieran Evans strike sailed over the cross bar.

Airbus were level shortly after, when a ball from Collins was played into the path of Cooke who’s pace and trickery down the right allowed him to beat the Mold defender and beat Swindell with a fine finish at his near post.

Cooke nearly doubled Airbus lead on 21, when a brilliant ball from Jordan Evans found Cooke in the 18 yard box. Cooked turned the Mold defender, but a great save from Swindell denied Cooke his second.

Airbus were playing the better football, but just before half time, Mold took the lead.

Another ball played down the right was retrieved by Warren who pulled the ball back into the six yard box for Duffy to connect and put the ball pass Jones.

Mold went into the half time break in the lead, some great saves from Swindell to keep Airbus at bay.

Seven minutes into the second half, Swindell was called into action again, when a great cross was met by Lindfield who directed a header goalwards but a fine save from the Mold keeper denied Lindfield to equalise.

A double substitution just before the hour with Lanceley and Peers replacing Collins and Lindfield.

Lanceley and Peers started to cause Mold problems with Peers making some great runs behind the Mold defence.

Sam Baker was introduced 7 minutes later as he replaced Cooke.

Baker made a great impact when his directness and skill causing the Mold full back problems and on 72 minutes Baker was rewarded with a goal. A great pass from Edwards for Baker to run on to, for Baker to score a well placed shot in the bottom corner.

Mold throughout the game looked dangerous from corners and on 80 minutes, a corner played into the box looked like and easy take and a lack of concentration seen Jones drop the ball which bounced into his own net.

Mold didn’t have their lead for long, as Jordan Evans collected the ball and unleashed a great strike from 25 yards which settled in the top corner.

The game was becoming end to end, when Mold hit the crossbar just after Airbus equalised, but the danger was cleared.

Evans looked like he secured goal of the season, until Palmer got in on the act. Great patient play by Airbus and Palmer picked the ball up 30 yards out and an amazing strike sailed passed Swindell to give Airbus the lead.

Deep within stoppage time, Lanceley wrapped up the 3 points and a win for the Wingmakers, when he beat the offside trap and executed a composed finished.

A great game for the neutral and another 3 points on the board.
