Another cup run we are still in, we rode our luck a bit yesterday but progressed with a comfortable win in the end?
M.A. “ Pleased to be through to the next round. I felt we were good for the win, however know their penalty chance at 0-0 may have changed that.
The quality of all of our goals were excellent and really pleasing to see. With Keighan too putting in a great performance I was really pleased”
You mentioned earlier in the season, it was important to have a squad you have belief in and that come into effect today with a couple of changes due to player absences?
M.A. “Yes we need a squad for the season. Players have opportunities over the season and it up to them to take them. At times it’s important to rotate the squad.
But every player is here because I and staff can have the impact that we want during the season. Every one of them will contribute in some way”
Want to touch upon the inclusion of Jake Eyre in the squad for today after his long time out through injury, it was great to see him back out there on the pitch?
M.A. “Really wonderful to have Jake back playing. I know I speak for everyone at the club saying that.
He’s had a real tough time and it seems he coming out the end of tunnel. It’s testimony to him that he’s come through a difficult time personally and as a player to be back on the pitch.
He’s a great individual around our changing room that we wouldn’t want to swap”
Back to league action next weekend with a trip to Buckley, which has always been eventful?
M.A. “Yes looking forward to the game and getting back to our main focus for the season, which is the league.
We need be prepared and ready for the game and want to go there and win”
